 		The Mas is located on the township of La Londe- les- Maures'.It is 8 km from Hyères-les- Palmiers well known , among other things, for its golden Islands, Giens peninsula and the very famous "Tombolo" and , of course, its exceptionnal climate! Saint-Tropez at only 25 km, le Lavandou at 12 km and just next door the "Green Provence". Here you will be able to enjoy water sports, short or long walks in the "Massif des Maures" , vast national forest ,tennis, golf, riding, rollers, mountain bike, etc...

In the valley known as "Les Borrels", nestled at the base of gold colored foothills, dappled with oaks between vineyards and peach trees one will discover our homestead, Le Mas du Gros Caillou, built of native stones. An antique, true to provencal charm , Le Mas provides a perfect setting where the pages of Pagnol meet the paintings of Cezanne.
Our private bed and breakfast is housed within a tastefully restored circa 17th century provencal farmhouse.
Le Mas du Gros Caillou offers an exquisite blend of authenticity, comfort and tranquility; this is a place where gracious living is an art.
Your hosts, the Greco family, welcome you to enjoy their estate along with its 8 landscaped acres. Revel in the open spaces or stroll along the extensive pathways leading you away from your main unit to a variety of private settings. Fill your senses with the aroma of naturally growing herbs and flowers and the melancholy of bird songs.
Float in the azure blue pool under a warm provencal sky or meet with other guests on the barbecue terrace.
The renovation of Le Mas du Gros Caillou began in 1982. The family quarters were first completed followed by 8 studio apartments for guests. Each unit is tastefully decorated in true provencal style: antique furniture, tiled floors and tiled walls in the bathrooms, warm colours, fully furnished kitchenette, comfort and calm. European breakfast is served daily in our sunny dining room.
Luncheons and dinners are available upon request. Your host and chef, Gilbert, is pleased to offer you "provencal" flavor (saffron, thyme, olive oil) with a fine light touch.
